Chattanooga Area Association of Realtors Donates Food For Widow's Thanksgiving Baskets

A convoy of vehicles arrived this afternoon, a little after 2:30 PM, in the parking lot of St. Elmo Baptist Church. Each automobile was filled with lots and lots of food as well as some very enthusiastic area realtors, who unloaded all of the food for us and brought it into the Church's fellowship hall so that Thanksgiving Baskets for widows could then be prepared. The Realtors association has been doing this for a number of years, but this was by far the most abundant and enthusiastic year ever. Thank You Realtors!

A few hours after the Realtors dropped off all of their food for the widows members of St. Elmo Baptist volunteered to prepare the boxes of food for the widows after their Wednesday evening service. I have truly been overwelmed by all the generosity and giving of self so many have been willing to give and be for the widows this Thanksgiving. Tomorrow we will have our annual Thanksgiving service and dinner for the widows and all of these food baskets will be given to each one that attends as well as a number of widows who are no longer able to leave their homes.

As you will notice many of the pictures look blurry, or at least the people in them do. When I went over to take the pictures people were moving so fast to get this done it really seemed like, as I watched them, that it was all a blurr.

amazing servant's heart, I am often in awe of him.
